This issue is for the Dykes. We asked artists to consider the history and meaning of the word and how they fit into that history. What we got back was a wide range of differing perspectives on Dyke. We saw quickly that the word does not mean the same thing to anyone. Everyone’s relationship with their Dyke-ness is different. It is individual. But, it is also communal.
